Total Fitness
Total Fitness is a chain of 15 health clubs in England and North Wales. We employ around 700 people including our Head Office based in the UK.
We believe that the areas our business faces risk related to modern slavery include our supply chain, outsourced providers such as cleaners, self-employed workers, contractors, and tenants.
Our employed team members are all voluntarily contracted on fair equitable terms of pay and working conditions. We have robust safeguarding processes in place to best protect and support them outside of the workplace as set out below.
Our People
All team members complete a mandatory safeguarding training program on arrival in the business, and biannually thereafter (role dependent) with a high requirement in pass mark
Specific training regarding modern slavery began inins 2024 – on arrival in the business and bi-annually thereafter in the same way.
Total Fitness has a robust Whistleblowing Policy, team members are encouraged to report any concerns whether that be of other team members, members or anyone working within our clubs.
Our Supply Chain
Total Fitness has strong supplier relationships across many areas of the business – from self-employed providers of fitness services, to procurement of consumable goods and IT services. High standards and integrity of business ethics and conduct are a requirement of our supply chain and Total Fitness has a supplier code of conduct to set out the minimum standards required from a supplier to enjoy a relationship with us. The code of conduct encompasses areas which include Modern Slavery, Anti-bribery and corruption, Health and Safety, and Data Security.
